Come On 02:55
I see you strugglin' Hurting from a fall It's hard to move along When you beat your head against the wall Well you're so sad in life It always turns to a fight But right in front of you Is a chance to do it right, oh yeah Come on What you gonna do? Come on What you gonna do? The things that you will take Can make you go insane I never learned a thing Without at least a little pain It's so confusing With your heart stomped on the floor You've always had the key To open up the door oh yeah Come on What you gonna do? Come on What you gonna do? See yourself in the shining light Sometimes it's not so bright One foot and then the other You gotta keep up the fight Come on What you gonna do? Come on What you gonna do? What you gonna do?

Your Dashboard Mary won't save you now Because you're blind to the whys and hows There ain't much givin' but there's always some take Actin' like the real thing but you've always been a fake You'll never fight to get off your knees All you know is to feed your disease It's not your fault everyone else is to blame Your livin' smells like dyin' you're the Clown Prince of Pain You promise big like the Texas sky Show up with empty hands to no one's surprise You live your life like a walking grave You think you're the messiah ain't Nobody gettin' saved Accountability it fills you with dread And all your selfish life's the day of the dead To try and help you is to bleed like rain Your livin' feels like dyin' you're the Clown Prince of Pain

Drowning in my own ocean Trying to kill the monsters that live inside Demons and devils feeding us their notions This is no time to hide No time to hide Might know a lot but I don't know anything Is a sun still a sun unshined? My fire gets hotter but it's still getting colder outside Feels like I'm out of time Out of time This is the day, I reckon Kaleidoscopic mind Demons and devils feeding us their potions Feels like I'm nowhere in time Nowhere in time

Take a risk A gamble or a chance Might not be aware of how Spirit lost While living in a trance Your emotions have you taking bows Your eyes no longer have a glint Under spells without seeing the hints Not knowing which way's up or down So what are you afraid of? Are you afraid of now? Ignore the red flags That start you on your dance On a field you continue to plow A view so narrow Afraid of the expanse Your lizard brain now wears a crown Your eyes no longer have a glint Under spells without seeing the hints Not knowing which way's up or down So what are you afraid of? Are you afraid of now? Your eyes no longer have a glint Under spells without seeing the hints Not knowing which way's up or down So what are you afraid of? Are you afraid of now?

Lonely Road 06:38
I've rarely seen another face On this lonely road I'd like to share some things I've found And come in from the cold This world we live in it's just a game For most but not for me It takes more than two good eyes To ever really see A journey of a thousand miles Starts with a single step But not to enter the abyss of your soul Face to face with your regrets The longest time I thought I was lost And had no place to go But now I know That I'm always home On this lonely road

Some say that love will tear us apart Some say that love is bad from the start Love, Love, Love, Ain't talkin' 'bout love (Too fat, too fat, too fat, to be a death rocker) Of course I'm depressed Look at the way I'm dressed There's nothing else I need But heroin or speed Love, Love, Love, Ain't talkin' 'bout love (Too fat, too fat, too fat, to be a death rocker) It is as though you were dead There is nothing you can do Only accept it And hurt Love, Love, Love, Ain't talkin' 'bout love (Too fat, too fat, too fat, to be a death rocker)

about

This record is the first result of what happens when I lock myself up at home for most of a year and writing music while learning to home record on the fly. The subject matter on this record goes from rallying cries and overcoming enormous personal obstacles, to observations, scathing rebukes, and inside jokes. It's meant a lot to me to have this outlet. I've honestly put a lot of myself into this music, and it'll mean a lot to me if you give it an honest listen and possibly let it mean something to you
